5 Easy and Inspiring Ways to Start Your Day!

I choose to start my day on a high positive vibration... ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

My mornings are the time that I set aside to practice mindfulness, and to ground & center myself.

Our subconscious is at it's most open and receptive (in the alpha/theta state), as we wake up and just before we go to sleep.  This is the optimum time to "prime" our body, mind, and spirit!

Here is my powerful morning ritual:

  • Start with a 20-minute meditation
  • Set a compelling Intention for the day
  • Practice 20-minutes of yoga
  • Drink a cup of hot water with fresh lemon and ginger
  • Make a nourishing, delicious green smoothie

This morning routine is my non-negotiable and allows me to be fully present and in the moment.  This sets up my day for success!!

I choose to do the above BEFORE I check my phone or computer. Not accessing technology allows me to be in the now and in the moment. This way I am in control of my energy and focus.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Here is some extra inspiration to work into your Morning Power Routine!


As soon as you wake up, choose to think of something or someone that makes you happy, or that you are grateful for.


When you get out of bed, make the bed! 😊  So you are not tempted to get back in!  Then sit down with your Gratitude Journal and write down your exciting goals for the day.  


Visualize what you want to achieve.  Be sensory-rich and see, hear, taste, and FEEL as if you already living that reality! As we know the subconscious mind does not know the difference between what is real and what is vividly imagined. 



Find a way to move your body that is the most enjoyable for you!  Some fun examples for you to explore:

  • Yoga
  • Pilates
  • Tai chi
  • Running
  • Swimming⠀
