Before you know it, your attitude and energy have changed, and you can guide and direct your mind to what you want to feel and achieve. It puts YOU into the driver's seat of what you want to create as your new reality! This is why affirmations are considered to be part of the Law of Attraction. What you say, think, and feel can cultivate and manifest your reality.
The key psychological explanation to the effectiveness of affirmations is found in the so-called Self-Affirmation Theory formed in the 1980s by Claude Steele. The theory explains that self-affirmations exist to preserve and maintain one’s self-integrity in the face of various threats and challenges.
